We were watching it last night and I was like, no, okay, Nathan is AWFUL sometimes like really AWFUL (attacking Faye and all the business with Layla and everything he's done ever) but he's mostly like that because he's clearly Not Well and that can all be traced back is parents (and having a genuine mental health issue) and when Maisie got sent away to rehab/therapy I was like SEND NATHAN, NATHAN NEEDS TO BE SEEN TO BY PROFESSIONALS. Nathan IS awful but he's not awful for the reasons think he is. He's done some horrid things but he's not a murderer and he's ill and his mother HIS MOTHER has manipulated him and used him and made him 100 times worse than he already was, just so she can a) not get sent to jail and b) keep her family together, even if it means driving away Nathan. Because apparently she would be happy with her family together so long as it included Maisie and Will (who has been where?) and bugger Nathan because he's too broken to bother with. AIGH it makes me so angry! Natasha is out of control and clearly a socio/psychopath herself.
