I just meant the usual "teenage girl comes to town, meets a handsome mysterious stranger, WHAT COULD HIS SECRET BE???" type of thing. I don't think they'll be any good - my opinion since reading a snippet in the bookshop hasn't changed, particularly given what I've heard pretty much everyone I know say about them - but I feel like I could enjoy some sparkling. And Outrageous Flavour - that type of writing has it's own weird charm, for me. It sounds like it could still be a fairly painful experience though.
