Okay. I knew from the end of the last episode that this was going to be a weird "flashback" episode. But I didn't know it was going to be THIS weird. Oh, a chance to look at and explore some new characters. Let's jazz them up by MOSTLY MAKING IT ABOUT THE CHARACTERS WE ALREADY HAVE. And mostly fuck up the timelines in the process. Great idea, Heroes.
Wasn't Thomson THERE when they handed Claire over to Bennett? Didn't he know? And, y'know, he read her file. In the episode there. Could he not have guessed? And I am quite down with Meredith being the big sister Flint has instead of a brain. But Meredith being quite so loving and protective of her brother who likes to kill and rape women? Not so much.
Thompson! With an earring? Okay.
And right, so Sylar killed ONE person before going all weird on Chandra, leaving him weird voice messages and then killing him? Funny how he wasn't angsting about THAT during his suicide attempt. Because we all know Mohinder didn't come to New York until after his father was dead. So. Yes. And Elle. Isn't she a bit of a sociopath? Who likes electrocuting people a bit for the fun of it? The kind of sociopath who feels differently when she likes guys and feels bad about things and stuff. It is a bit super that Sylar got back into killing because she thought some other guy was really SPECIAL, in front of him. And he was going to prove to her just how special he was with some QUICK BRAIN REMOVAL. That's the way to win a girl's heart. It would impress anyone.
And Angela. I do love Angela. She did apparently do the whole Gabriel-near-drowning on her own, and I assume she must have known about Peter's role to play in the New York plan thing. Although how they were going to do it without Nathan, I don't know. But the constant telepathic rape thing is a bit rub. Angela-Haitian is always great too. And "It's not your mother's recipe", lol. IT'S A LITTLE SOMETHING I COOKED UP ON MY OWN. WITH A SPECIAL ADDED INGREDIENT. Oh Angela. The way to a man's heart condition is through his stomach. And why didn't Arthur ask for his good friend Linderman at the end there? And why was Maury so important if he could transmit his thoughts into anyone's head? And things. Yes.
And now the mystical black man has fulfilled his purpose. So he is dead. Well done Heroes.
Also, Ando is the most useless boyfriend in the world ever. Hiro was screaming, and he was just stood there all "What's going on there then?". Oh Ando. Will you ever get anything to do? Maybe he'll get a synthetic power to make up for Hiro not having one. Hmm.
