Baby, you can drive my car

There is tons of Peter/Sylar fic, and tons of Percy fic. IT'S LIKE FANDOM HAS FALLEN IN LOVE WITH ME. You'd better all hope I don't wish the goblins would take any of you away. Which I don't. Of course not.
Yesterday I went to Alton Towers with Cecilia. It was mostly exhausting. The queues weren't too painfully long, except for one of them, but the actual rides didn't seem to last very long, which was a shame. I suppose because the park's so popular they have to keep the time down to keep the queues moving. But it was fun. We didn't get there till 11, and for some reason Derby train station made me get a train to Uttoxeter to get the bus, while Cecilia just got a coach straight from Derby, but we made it. I rode all the rides I was too afraid to go on when I went with school at 15 except the ones we didn't have time for. We got flung round and turned upside down, and saw a pink waterfall we didn't think would be very good for the environment, and practised for a zombie apocalypse. I learned that bringing a bag just isn't a good idea, even if you do want something to read on the bus. We had waffles and ice-cream and learned what submission requires, tramped through a haunted but somewhat disappointing wood and avoided gardens at all costs. Finally, we completed Alton Towers Coda: The Search for the Coach Home, and got back while trying not to use our feet too much. Also we got rained it, but y'know, we're pretty hardcore. It was win. Usually I'm still a little freaked out by rollercoasters, but Cee was okay with everything, so so was I. It was great. Nemesis is still quite tops. And Rita Queen of Speed turned out to be one of the best rollercoaster experiences of my life.
Oh. Back to work tomorrow. As I say, it should be quieter now we've got all the urgent responses sent off, and, y'know, can't actually send anymore (while the guy's away), but it's still a bit stressful with the main guy not the there. It should be alright though. Mostly I just want a week off work, to sequester myself in the flat and watch all the things I want to watch and read all the things I want to read and also sleep. But. I guess the day off on Tuesday will have to do.
Heroes is starting again tomorrow! Though I probably won't be able to watch it till Tuesday. I wasn't quite prepared for this. Probably I can let myself read about the new S2 Heroes in the SFX special now. Yes.
This is what I've heard:
Other than that I am spoiler-free, and quite happy with it.

This is what I've heard:
- Nathan survived the explosion.
- Veronica Mars is in it (hurray, more girls!).
- There's going to be a new bad guy called Cain, who Sylar sort of teams up with. Because what we clearly need in a show where a character called Peter runs on faith, a person called Gabriel has an insane amount of powers and brings death wherever he goes, a girl called Eden spurs people on to their ultimate dream or tempts/persuades them to their downfall and a guy called Noah shepherds people into a brave new world, is more biblical allusions. Yes.
- The guy who plays Kensei is white and blond? (??)
- Peter possibly gets chained half-naked to a wall at some point (reason unknown) I clicked the spoiler cut by accident and backed out as quickly as I could).
Other than that I am spoiler-free, and quite happy with it.
