Jul. 27th, 2020 10:35 pmI'm playing Ghost of Tsushima. I love Ghost of Tsushima. The main character is a samurai in middle-ages Japan, during the real event of the Mongol invasion of Tsushima, but all the samurai died and there are thousands of Mongols, so he's having to basically invent ninjas and be one, even though that isn't honourable. I love him quite a lot. ( Spoilers )
The man who pissed me off in the let's play/stream last week seems to be in every single video and stream they make. Another thing he did that pissed me off mildly was say his main thing he does at the moment is go around the house trying to annoy his (working) wife and children so much he gets sent up to his own little room to make streams and play with electronics all day, and it appears to be true. I feel like I could get over my annoyance with him more quickly if I didn't have to constantly listen to him, so I may have to just stop watching all their videos and streams for a bit.
I got my first customs charge from a thing I've ordered recently from America, and for a while I thought I'd given myself a reason to have to leave the house, which I didn't think I'd have to do for another few weeks. But then I realised you can pays customs charges online, I just usually don't. So I don't have to leave the house! Hurrah. I am annoyed about the customs charges though. I'm bracing myself for some of the other things I've ordered, and I knew it was going to happen and ordered anyway, but it's still really annoying. I used to order all my t-shirts from Threadless in America, and I felt like I got hit with customs charges sometimes, but not always, and not much. Now I seem to get them every time I order something from America. So much for international trade. And it scales with how much you spend, so if you've ordered something expensive and don't really want to spend any more on it, well fuck you, get ready for even more customs than you usually pay! Not that you know exactly how much it will be before you order and wait weeks/months to get it! It sucks.
