My parents have finished decorating the living room. It's all grey. All of it. I can't really believe it. It looks lovely, for a waiting room. For a living room, oh my god. And we have leather couches now. They're cold when you sit down on them. I can't wait for winter.
I sent that parcel back last week, the one that arrived broken. Everyone I spoke to suggested I should get free shipping for it, but the online store hadn't mentioned anything and I wanted to get it sent off before the holiday. I emailed them asking if I was entitled and could claim the money back or anything, and they said I had been, but now I'd actually returned the thing they couldn't give me the money back. I sent them an angry email about how maybe they should have mentioned that, or pointed me in the direction of the actual process, rather than just giving me an address like they did, and they said hey, MAYBE WE CAN GIVE YOU A REFUND IN A DIFFERENT WAY. I sent them a scan of my postal receipts on Sunday, and hopefully it's all going through. It was £11 to send that thing back. That's not small change.
