Aug. 2nd, 2012 11:55 pmSome things I have seen on the internet in the past few days/week:
An annoying thing: Harpies with arms. No no no no no. I have come to realise that I have weird and very specific ideas about what a harpy should look/be like, that most other people who are interested don't seem to share. But the main point of them is still that they are half-bird, half-woman or human, in whatever proportion or way you see fit. If you just draw a person with wings then you may as well just draw an angel, or a person with wings, what is the point?
A confusing thing: Just now on imdb, an announcement for the new trailer of Paranormal Activity 4. 4? What happened to 2 and 3? Did I miss them?
A pleasing thing: It turned out that the We Want Julia sketch from Man Stroke Woman totally is online, which is nice because it pretty accurately describes my feelings whenever I love a show/film/fandom, and people start talking about changing it, or getting rid of one of the characters, or replacing them. Behold:
Which, you know. It's not a Tumblr-ready gif, but pretty handy all the same.
I'm going away for the weekend tomorrow now, so you probably will not hear from me again until after the weekend.
