More thoughts on Supernatural

girlofpreyI guess there isn't going to be that Special Kids Orgy I was half-rooting for either.
But mostly I think it's quite sad that John's whole thing of training the boys to be hunters and take care of themselves only made Sam slightly more fit for the demon's purpose. And his plan to go 'underground' to spare the boys so they went looking for him, and Dean's general desire to have Sam hunting with him again, the same. Of course, Sam would probably be dead by now if they hadn't. But still. It's all a bit of a tragedy, even without people selling their souls for each other.
Also, I quite like that Sam went through the whole thing of "It's amazing what you can do when you just open yourself to it", without ever going "Oh, like when I did telekinesis about a year ago to save my brother? We don't all immediately give in to the Dark Side, bitches". Yay him.
Peter wasn't in BBC Heroes tonight. That was quite sad. Anyway, the agency got me another day's work tomorrow, so I'll be back to the grind for a few days. Which is nice. It's only round the corner, in fact. I could probably come home for lunch. And now I have the choice of looking for Supernatural fic, or watching the Arrested Development season finale. Decisions, decisions. The Bluths never get possessed by demons. It's their one failing.
