Sep. 3rd, 2009 08:12 pmSo. I don't have to work with that guy anymore. I woke up this morning to a call from my agency saying that I didn't need to go in to work as the position had finished. Which was good, in a confusing way, because - although I think I did hear my alarm I obviously didn't get up - I got the call at 20 past eight-ish and I was meant to be at work at eight. I can't help but feel that wasn't a coincidence, but the agency didn't say anything, and when I went in later to drop off some holiday forms and asked what had happened, they just said the company said they had no more budget for any more hours for a temp. So that was that. I still have a feeling it was something to do with me not getting there on time, and it's a bit annoying to not get all the wage I was expecting, but at least it's not a problem with the agency. And I don't have to work there again. Hurray!
It also gave me a chance to go to the counselling appointment I had booked but had had to cancel the other day. I don't know how much help the counselling is at the moment, I think I'm still having assessment sort of sessions, but it is nice to be able to talk to someone about everything. Anyway, I'm going to my parents' tomorrow. And I can get an early-ish train. Assuming I don't get a call for emergency cover tomorrow morning.
