(no subject)

Those bastards, they found me work. I'd managed to convince myself that two emergency jobs wouldn't happen in a row, so I had nothing clean to wear and hadn't had a shower, and they called me this morning at 9 o'clock to ask if I could go in this morning. I lied and said I had been at my parents this weekend and wouldn't be able to get there till 2 o'clock, and got vaguely ready. Then I couldn't find the place. It's a way out of town, and I thought the bus had gone past it, but it had actually turned off before it, and I was about 45 minutes late. It's reception work, but this time for a car showroom, in a system I don't entirely understand, and only for the next three days. And it's only part time, which in some ways is nice, but might not actually be worth the housing benefit I'd otherwise get. slkfdjsldkjflskdjgofijserjfsuldsldknmfckn. Oh well. It is money. And gets me out of the house, and shows willing with this new agency of mine, and kjhkjhjkhbkbjbkjhbkihubkjk. Hmm. Oh well. Holiday season's practically over, so the work might dry up pretty soon. At least I'll have some money in the bank if it does. Um. Y'know. Or some new shoes.

Other things:

I've been on the internet for about five years now, longer really before I had an LJ, and I've only just got into Ask A Ninja. I feel like I should hand in my card and badge or something. Oh. I love that ninja.

Also, I found this on the internet. They have other stuff too, but particularly that. I don't know why the expensive things of the world don't have the decency to be fug. I REALLY DON'T. They have other beautiful bags too. It's not entirely fair, I don't think.

And other things. I've been missing the new series of Would I Lie To You? and David Mitchell on the telly, apparently. That's a bit annoying. I didn't watch Wuthering Heights either, but that was more through choice, really. Sunday nights aren't the same without Single-Handed. ::Sigh::
