Upcoming Things
Feb. 3rd, 2008 10:53 pmI have now returned from my parents, having met my new nephew, who is lovely and adorable. Which was good.
Things coming up:
- Pancake Day
- Those plays I want to see
- Valentine's Day
- Mother's Day
- My grandma's birthday
- A convention
- Easter
- My birthday
I'm not quite sure how that's going to work. I'm particularly not sure what I'm going to do on Tuesday. Hoping there is still stuff in Tesco's tomorrow seems to be the best bet.
ALSO THERE ARE FILMS. Out now is Cloverfield, which seems sort of interesting, even if J.J. Abrams and a monster we hear a lot about but don't really see seems a bit old hat. There's also Penelope, which has Christina Ricci in it, and Reese Witherspoon in nice eyeliner. Next week is Juno, which seems to have a magical cast combining Michael Bluth and George Michael Bluth, Sydney Bristow (who didn't always annoy me) and Vern Schillinger. The new Daniel Day Lewis film will be out soon. And there's Jumper, which looks kind of good. As if chaining Christina Ricci to a radiator wasn't enough, Samuel L. Jackson is now going to be in a film where he tasers young men with superpowers. And then Be Kind Rewind will be out around the 22nd, which I've heard good things about. And there's a little indie film on at one of our independent cinemas for the next week I wouldn't mind seeing. Mostly I think this will take some careful planning. Dudes.
