Higniffy, and work

I came off work early today because I had my period, and the pain was sort of bad. It's always very awkward, because you tell people you're 'not feeling very well' and they say "Oh, I hope you're alright", and you have to sort of explain to them that it's fine - it's nothing serious - you know what it, it happens a lot. It'll all be fine. Without actually sounding like you're making it up, or saying you're on your period, which some people find a bit awkward and sometimes you just don't want to tell people. I think the message might have gotten across today though, at least to the other two temps, especially after J was saying I must just be feeling like he was, 'a bit off', and I whispered "Look, it's my period". Apparently they had guessed that. But just to leave them in no doubt.
