All the things
Oct. 13th, 2006 08:33 pmI have half plotted out a bunch of posts over the last few days, and not had time to write them. Mostly this is because I finally tracked down Blackadder Goes Forth. I - I love Kevin Darling. I was prepared for this, because he is Percy and has a pretty neck, but ohh. No I wasn't. Also we went to see the Devil Wears Prada. I loved Emily. So much. Anne Hathaway is annoying. Simon Baker is much more impressive than when he was fighting zombies. Almost worthy of Cholo.
Anyway. Now I have the last book of A Series of Unfortunate Events. Have had it for over five hours, thanks to the cunning trick of asking if I could nip out from work to get a book, and then going and getting it. But I haven't started it yet, and can't see how I will with about ten things happening tonight alone. Not least of which is new Higniffy. With Peter Serafinowicz. Mmm. But also - it's the end. It's The End, I know, but it's THE END. Everything is going to have to be tied up in this book. Everything. The Baudelaires. Olaf. The Hook-Handed Man. Lemony Snicket. What if it's a terrible end? And what if it's a Terrible end? Which is perhaps what I should be expecting from the series?
It is very pretty and green though.
Mostly I just want all my characters to be alive at the end of the book so I can fic them without having to AU. I'm sick of having to AU people alive again. The power of life and death is so for the suck. Anyway. I will probably be back after Higniffy and QI. Possibly with at least the first few chapters under my belt. We shall see.
