Revision and poison, and the thwarting of both...sounds about right...

Just finished my last exam, which means I have a whole three days of freedom before lectures start up again, during which I have to read Richard III and Nietzche. Sigh. But I'm going to a film journalism thing tomorrow and Saturday anyway, so wheee!!! Special invitation, though I'm not sure how that happened. Two days full of free films and free food, and a possible satellite link with Scarlett Johanssen, of the pretty. Not planning to ask a huge amount of incisive questions, but hey - free films, free food!

It's almost enough to make me feel better about our scary visit from the gasman this morning :(. Turns out our gas heater is one of the most badly clogged up he's ever seen, and if he hadn't come round (if our landlord hadn't called him specifically), we wouldn't have known, and would in fact have gone on covering the vent in the living room with cushions to keep out the draft (blushes). We were young and foolish! We didn't know! So yes. Scary. My hand smells smokey for some reason, and every time I smell it I think about carbon monoxide poisoning (not so pleasant), but at least we are safe rather than sorry.

Anywho, exam done after two days of wild revision, so I can get back to thinking about interesting things now.

Hmm. On a fannish note: Zak from Hollyoaks, stop sulking and making Cameron feel bad. He loves Bella, and will never shag you. I hope you die of germs, and alcohol poisoning, and rugby-related injuries. And yes, this is me preferring a het relationship to any form of slash (though Bella does seem to have a thing for Lisa, too). Hollyoaks makers, Cameron rocks, and no amount of rubber gloves and blankets on the legs can make me think different. Clearly he and Bella has wild and crazy sex on that blanket as soon as the credits stopped rolling. And should I bite the bullet and actually go to connotations this year? It would be nice to be in an entirely slashy environment, but I'm not exactly a fandom celebrity. Could make new and interesting friends though. Hmm. Decisions...
