I love that he told Guy first. I love foreverdirt, make her write fic. I love you. Clearly, clearly the marriage would be three-way, Guy would be hovering around waiting for Mac to die so he could have Caroline back anyway and secretly doing more research, and Mac would keep 'forgetting' to mention that CIRCUMSTANCES HAD CHANGED. Until it was all too late and they'd forgotten how they lived without each other.
I don't know about the Mactor's acting. I think maybe it's the kind of character he's playing, all cool and suave and nothing-touches-me. They made kind of a nod towards that in Season 2, with Caroline complaining about the constant games, but they keep undoing stuff from season 2 so I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK. I haven't seen Julian Rhind-Tutt (Mactor) in anything else, besides Black Books, though. The people on the comm love him. I don't entirely trust their judgement.
Hah. The first scene for me that pinged - well the Guy/Caroline kiss at the party was hot - but the first bit that made me sit up was when Guy and Mac fought and Mac ended up smashing his head into a locker and forcing him to apologise. I have been HOOKED EVER SINCE. Maybe it's a Green Wing thing. We should experiment. For some reason I can't see Sue with anyone. Maybe because she's just too mad lately - in the first season it was alright, because it was clearly partly caused by the people she had to put up with (see: Statham). But now it's just a bit too out there. Except for Caroline, perhaps. I'm a slasher at heart anyways. DON'T TRY TO CHANGE ME BABY.
In conclusion: I love the deleted scenes, and Green Wing, and you :D
