I'd almost forgotten about bullet points

- It's Christmas Eve! My nephew's downstairs growling. My sister has a thong on. Joy to the world, and all that.
- All my presents are wrapped, as of last night. About half of them are chocolate. This feels slightly lazy. But y'know - oh, people like chocolate. I'm not ashamed. My mother's present slightly gives away the fact it's a steering wheel cover (which she asked for). I'm not sure how to get that one past her.
- Emmerdale was great tonight. Carl worked out that his dad paid off his fiancee, and basically just strode around in a pin-striped shirt looking betrayed. His dad tried to convince him he was the only one who could take over the business (because HE'S THE PRETTIEST), Jimmy and Matthew found out and acted like he'd always been in the picture to get it (because HE'S THE PRETTIEST), Matthew fumed about it (suddenly scrupulous about SLEEPING HIS WAY TO THE TOP), and at one point the boys all strode into the pub and Carl was in the lead, and it was great, they were like Charlie's Angels. Only one more day till Tom King dies. Although it's blatantly going to be the day after when we get to see the boys crying. Still, you know I'm totally watching the hour-long special tomorrow instead of Doctor Who. I rejoice in my alternative fannishness.
- I still think the animated Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is both sadder and scarier than the real-life version.
- Merry Christmas, everyone! :) ::sends holly::
