Heroes speculation, and work (mostly)
I was watching Coronation Street at the weekend, and suddenly started seeing possible Sarah/David incest. Which was unexpected.
So current theory: The Company knew Adam was working with Peter, and was trying to recruit Sylar - via Candace - to fight against him. Having somehow switched off his powers (using a form of the virus?) until they convinced him. Which is nice, because it suggests there might be more Sylar vs Peter in the rest of the season. Which I always enjoy. Also, Candace must be pissed off (from death) that Matt and his father pretty much stole her power. Dude.
Current other favourite theory: Elle is Adam's daughter, and there'll be some supervillain hookups in the weeks to come. That one's not really true. Adam is clearly Claire's grandfather.
I wonder if he's going to mention to Peter at any point that he recently tried to kill Peter's mother. The only member of his family that Peter remembers, at this point. Awkward.
What I like about Heroes is that they don't spin out their mysteries for too long. The identity of Adam Munroe could easily have lasted half a season (except without Peter getting involved in whatever he's about to get involved in, I guess), and they could have left the fate of Kensei hanging in the air for a bit longer, but no, we've learned it now. And the paintings coming true seems to be moving along at a fairly fast clip. But then they still leave a lot of stuff ambiguous. It occured to me that we don't actually know, at this point, that Adam Munroe is a supervillain - we only have the older generation and the Company's word for it. 400 years is a long time to get over his feud with Hiro, or the betrayal (though he might still carry a personal grudge). But then again they dressed him in black, so...
And likewise the Virus/outbreak is still a bit of a question mark. Because Adam was the one apparently talking about plagues, the Company's the one messing around with it, and HRG is the person most likely to stop anyone trying to find a cure using Claire. Although if the power does work that way, Adam and Peter will probably be able to do the same thing too. Or be immune to it. Hmm.
Also, people have said they hope Kensei hugs Hiro when he sees him again. I hope he calls him 'Carp'. Anyway. End of speculation.
God, people really do make some awesome vids. Rama Lama Bang Bang by counteragent. Angel/Dr Who. Lilah and Yvonne: two hardworking, professional zombies with lots of spunk and heart. Might need to get that song somewhere.
In other news, I have work for tomorrow. I have to be there at 8:30, but hey - work! Hopefully which will last, or be replaced by other work. So I can get a slightly better handle on my cash. The only unfortunate part is that I haven't done any of the cleaning I said I was going to do with my few days off. But I did spend most of today curled into a ball trying to ward off stomach cramps. Anyway. There's always the weekend. I need to fix the light in the bathroom as well. But work! Now I just need to find out where it is.

That sounds rather promising than my deranged US drama series of choice.
I'm glad you have work. Obviously I'd rather you'd found a sackful of gold in a skip instead. But work's probably the next best thing.

IF THERE ARE ANY SACKFULS OF GOLD IN A SKIP GOING SPARE, I WILL TAKE THOSE. But no, I am rather pleased to have work. Thank you.
