I finally joined Imzy! I am girlofprey on Imzy.

I feel like the two gifs that could sum up my job-hunting process are one of Zohan, from You Don't Mess With The Zohan, saying "I have the skills - I have the desire". And the other would be that one from Brooklyn Nine Nine of Jake playing a guitar for a criminal, and then screaming.

But anyway. Trial shift tomorrow. Wish me luck! I have to get up at about 6.30, but I'm going to give it my best. And right now, the video for the Playstation Meeting that happened earlier tonight has finally gotten to the Meeting part, so I'm going to watch that and learn All The News.

Is Imzy like livejournal? I've never heard of it!

It's sort of...closer to Livejournal in some ways than Tumblr? It's based on communities, rather than personal accounts - which confuses a lot of people who are used to both on LJ. But you can basically set up a 'community' that is just your personal journal, named after yourself. It has threaded comments and lots of things LJ has that Tumblr is missing, and like I say it's very community based - which I've missed lately - so lots of people have joined it and are hoping it takes off. I think you need a code to join at the moment though.

That sounds really cool! I missed the communities and actually chatting with people. I always say it! I can't get into tumblr that way because there's a lack of connection. I've signed up for an invite so hopefully I get one!
Are you enjoying the community there so far? (if there's any!)

I literally just signed up about an hour ago, and a lot of the stuff I'm into at the moment I'm a little behind on, so I don't want to get spoilered. But what I've seen of comment threads on a friend's Imzy looks just like what's on Livejournal, so I'm really excited. I'll probably look into it more on the weekend, when I have some free time to devote to looking around and leaving messages. There do seem to be quite a lot of communities on there though, so people are clearly trying to make it take off.
