Weekend Review
(Firstly: Iconlove! Omg!)
I came, I saw, I...ate too many scones.
It's almost time to go home. Dad's driving me (yay!), so I don't have to worry about brain/laptop damage again, or piss about with too huge bags on buses. We're cooking a moussaka. When it's done - and eaten - I must go.
I have spent most of the weekend ignoring my family in favour of the internet. It was one of those whole 'Oh I'll just...'/Five Hours Later sort of deals. Mum brought Jack (nephew) over for a few hours last night - Katie needed time to go shopping - and we played for a while. He can walk clear across the room on a push/wheely thing! He also banged his head on a door and cried. And is slightly in love with our dog. But he is lovely. In smallish doses.
I have reading for seminars that did not get done. And I didn't do any of the essay-related emailing I said I would. Possibly this is why it's a good thing I don't have the internet at uni. Woe. But I tidied my room a bit and been to see my grandmother who was lovely and gave me money. So that's vaguely useful. And I do have tons and tons of shiny new icons - including this one :D Tongue thing! Eee!

crouchjr, for fans of the crazy/beautiful one. All things fannish raucously welcomed. Not that I can promise any actual activity, but - it's there. I've done my bit.
I feel like I should make a third community now. So I can have a triplet. A trilogy. A trio. Whatever. Hmm.
I was reading my new Empire magazine, and they had a bit about King Kong, wherein Adrien Brody was talking about how his character, Jack, has to not just hate Kong and be his rival, but also respect and admire him, and feel a kinship with him over their love of Anne. It's wrong to want Jack/Kong slash, isn't it?

I haven't seen much in the last few days, sadly. But maybe I'm just impatient. Most every review of the film I've seen had at least a little bit of love for him. Or freaking out about the tongue thing.
