- Last week, I appeared to give myself eyestrain and a sore neck from staring at screens too hard, trying to make sure I was reading things right. So that was fun.
- I can't believe it's September already, although it was always coming. But then it's been more summery this weekend than it has for a few weeks prior, and given our country's current weather, what does autumn even mean? Another heatwave? Freezing blizzards? Who knows.
- I've been playing a game called Phantom Doctrine lately. This may seem to run contrary to my previous post about video games, but I don't care. It's very good, but I don't feel like I understand it totally, and keep missing out on things because I didn't understand what the game wanted me to do, or what I could do about it at least. But still it's very good. I love the voice acting for the female option of the main character.
- It's only been five months since Far Cry 5 was released, and already a large chunk of Tumblr posts I bookmarked have been deleted, because I assume the whole Tumblr was deleted. This is the state of fandom these days.
- I want to go see The Spy Who Dumped Me and The Happytime Murders, but I also don't want to leave the house ever again. Also the trains are constantly on strike, and even though I can totally get there without them, it seems like more of a pain. So that's a shame.
- ETA: Also, I realised a while back that I actually had space for more than one icon, and uploaded some new ones. Look at me go!

I would recommend it yes. It's an X-COM style game, only instead of fighting aliens you're fighting espionage as a spy in the 1980s, and there's a lot more stealth and stuff. It's got some bugs that are kind of frustrating, like enemies being able to throw grenades at you through a concrete wall, and a few other things that sometimes means your whole mission suddenly goes belly-up because of something that felt like it wasn't your fault. But it's still really cool and compelling, especially once you get used to the systems. I'm enjoying it a lot.
