Just watched the Pilot episodes.

I hate Jack and Kate!

::cheers for being much like everyone else::

It went something like this:

Jack: Omg, fearness.
Kate: Omg, I-saw-it-all-ness.
Me: Omg, die

My mother and father think I am just hating them because all of you do, and that you only hate Kate because she's a 'sexy bitch'.

I have tried to explain the lack of logic in this. I have failed.

I like Boone :) And Charlie is quite adorable.

I don't want to look for slash yet because I want to watch it as a show first, till I see some myself.

Which one is Sawyer?

Sawyer is the one who is like scruffy and hates Jack.

I HATE JACK SO MUCH. Oh god it is not possible to explain the level of Jack hate. And Kate hate. And omg. Soon your parents surely will hate them too. They HAVE TO UNDERSTAND. YEs. ARGH. And ARGHGHGHGHGHARGH.

Did he have a gun? Which Kate bravely took away, and held on him, and dismantled because she is so pacifistic and heroic and pure?!!!

I do not hate Jack hugely just yet. I just wish he would be quiet. Perhaps that Kate had sown his lips shut too. Or that he had been eaten by the monster. Or polar bear. Or whatever.

Yay for the non-Kate/Jack people!

He did have the gun. And Kate went all moral on him. And then everyone else VOMITTED ON HER AND HOPED SHE DIED. In my head. Yes.

ooh, but I'm very much in a Kate/Jack camp because I think they should stay together forever if their small pit whch the other people dig for them and then throw fire into sometimes. And rocks. Hm.

Sorry, I hve been watching later episodes with sister tonight and my hatred is up high:)

I did not mean I was anti-Kate/Jack. Much like you, I think they should have there love, so long as they have it far away, or down a dark hole. It was a yay for anyone (on Lost) who was neither Kate nor Jack.

I HATE Kate as much as you. Although it took my a couple of episodes before it sank in. You'll hate her even more as you watch future episodes. As for Jack, I quite like him even though he gets a little irritating. I carry my love for Party of Five onto this show.

Sawyer is the HOT one who smokes and is rude to everyone *see icon*

As for the slash...it would be very hard to miss. I slash lots of people here!

I don't think it's possible to hate her even more. I was trying to explain my hate to my parents, that it was based on the fact that she has no character - she's just a sort of cypher for whatever moral/brave/lovely message a situation needs to get across, and even if her face IS pretty, I can't see it for the whiny. And the bony.

I think how much better that part of the Pilot would have been if Sawyer had kept the gun and lost it through an actual interaction with someone later on, and I weep.

I don't hate Jack hugely. Only some of the parts when he speaks.

I thought that might be Sawyer, because he was the only one whose name I didn't know. I assumed it was not the fat guy.

At the moment I'm just all 'ooh, shiny island', and 'ooh, shiny characters', and 'oh no! the radio's dead!'. I eagerly await the slash :)

Seriously, it is possible. She is an insanely irritating Mary Sue of sorts and what you just said about her pretty much sums up what's to come for the future.

I got similar vibes to you when I was watching Jack in the pilot. He seems too set up to be the hero which didn't go down well with me at all.

Doesn't someone actually say at one point 'you're the hero'? At which point he looks all angsty and heroic. Sounds like a 'set-up' to me.
