Hello
A few things:
I'm working at the probation office again. I don't know if I mentioned that. It's expectedly stressful and familiar. But I'm working with a woman who is apparently finding it more stressful. She comes in at 8 o'clock and yesterday came back after leaving at five because there was some diary on the computer system that had disappeared and she was trying to get it back, and apparently she didn't leave till half past seven. That's a bit formidable. I mostly hope that she's coping with it all okay. I cried at work for the first time last week, but apart from that it's all been pretty okay, even with all the stress of everyone moving buildings and moving teams and offenders moving teams. Gah. But it's mostly fine.
The flat's a mess. And I have to deadhead the dahlias. And the roses, I'm pretty sure. On the other hand, I finally got my Citycard, about a year after I first asked them to send me one. I may or may not go to Splendour in the Park so Kate Nash can sing about how she'd rather be with my friends, mate, cos they are much fittah. And I have the most beautiful suncatchers and windchimes in the world. YOU CAN'T IMAGINE THEM. Also; DRIPPIN' IN PRADA! Enough said.
- Wanted the first time was great. Wanted the second time was much better. It turned out to be unexpectedly beautiful, and other things I can't say without giving most of it away. Still. Wesley/Cross forever.
- Hancock/Ray forever. AGAIN UNEXPECTEDLY BEAUTIFUL.
- Edmund Pevensie forever.
- Edmund/The White Witch sometimes.

Oh, I want to see Hancock quite badly. I wish your work was less stressful. Dude.

I think you should. They do some things which are a bit odd, but other bits are GREAT, REALLY QUITE GREAT. I loved it quite a lot. My work is quite fine really, it does sound very stressful, but it's only really when it gets busy that it's stressful. Or when people scream at you down the phone. That's less than enjoyable.

I haven't seen Hancock. I don't think it should be allowed to be called Hancock and not be about Tony Hancock. I've seen Prince Caspian though. Well done, Edmund.
Deadheading the dahlias sounds about the most grown-up thing you can do.

I LOVE EDMUND. Oh. He had a torch, and was always there for his brother, and did headbutting, and wore a shirt with his braces down. And relocated his brother's shoulder to stop him making any emotional scenes. AND WAS BRILLIANT. I thought the whole movie was quite good, actually, much better than I was expecting it to be. Except for Prince Caspian's sad lack of a personality for the most part, as far as I could see.
I'm meant to deadhead the dahlias, cards and plantsellers tell me so, I just need a knife or pair of scissors or secateurs I don't mind having dirty to do it with. I'm guessing it's also true of the roses just because. Hopefully this will make them grow better, or at least keep growing.
