Heroes finale

Right, on the Sylar thing, the showdown felt like a bit of an anticlimax, but I get the idea that everyone pulled together to stop him, and it was a joint effort, and that was pretty cool.

But - BUT - on the bomb thing - SURELY Peter can fly on his own? I mean, it was nice to see Nathan believe, and do something other than what people told him to, but SURELY PETER CAN FLY ON HIS OWN? We've seen him do it. It was one of the things he was learning to control so he wouldn't blow up. So why, why - ugh!

Maybe the thing was that Peter was losing control of his powers generally, not just the radioactive one, so couldn't fly on his own. But I didn't see many things go flying through the air. Hmph. EXPLAIN this in the next season, Heroes. Also bring Nathan back.

Right. Anyway. Clearly they're setting Peter and Sylar up for a grudge thing next season, which is pretty cool. We deserve to see the payoff of that massive energy fight in Five Years Gone, don't we? To be fair, I knew they were going to make a thing of Peter versus Sylar, because of the alliterated names, which is always a big thing in comic books. This is why it felt like a safe bet to assume they'd have interaction. Which was nice. I'm willing to bet there is no fic, as it is one of my pairings.

But Ando lived! And that was beautiful. Even if his boyfriend is in feudal Japan.

That's exactly what my thoughts were! my friends and I were saying HOPEFULLLY Nathan did the smart thing and dropped him mid air! I guess if Peter could control his abilities then perhaps he shouldnt have exploded but he couldnt
