Hello. I'm mostly posting negative things at the moment, aren't I. I am good and I am happy, mostly, and the world is good in whole patches. And I love Yorkshire, and I love England, I think it is the best country in the world still, in a very biased way. I just wish you could express that sentiment at the moment and not feel like you're encouraging racists somewhere. I do heritage things and go to heritage events, and then I also feel like "hm".

I went to Harlow Carr, it was beautiful. The carbonara at Lucia's is still A+. I went to my MN's birthday and it was lovely to see him, and lovely to see him spending time with my YN too. I got my YN's cold on the way back, and I've had that all week which has been annoying, but it has been a very mild cold where I didn't feel like I was dead or even wish I didn't have to go to work at all, and now it's mostly gone. I got my hair cut on Saturday, which I've been meaning to do for weeks and am very pleased about. And I went to see Birds of Prey on Saturday, and I liked it, and I think I like it more and more the more I think back on it. I am still into fragrance. Then I discovered Penhaligons. They have a store in Leeds. A permanently empty store with only one lonely-looking shop assistant in it. The expense is eye-watering. I have £80 to last me the next two weeks to payday, and that's without buying any perfume. Valentine's Day is this week. I like Valentine's Day, mostly for the special chocolate and red things they bring out. My dog ate some chocolate this week too. Some special rhubarb chocolate I had bought. Took it out of my bag, neatly unfolded the foil, and ate it. Then went in my bin for some more chocolate I threw out weeks ago. We took him to the vets. He's fine.

Also I have been watching this other chatty husky. He's the friend of the other one. They're both very good.

Rhubarb chocolate! Oh that sounds great. Sorry it went to the dog.

I am glad that things have been well for the most part despite those setbacks, and I hope that you will recover fully from the cold soon! It's wonderful news that your dog is fine after he ate that chocolate, though it's a shame it went to him instead of you since rhubarb chocolate sounds quite yummy.

Yay for chatty huskies too! ♥
