I haven't had any response from the one job I applied for still, and now Indeed keeps sending me other job postings for 'Hotel Receptionist in Wakefield', such as one in Sheffield and one in Leeds. And one that just says 'Great Britain', for Club Med.

If you look on a map of the United Kingdom, you may notice that Sheffield and Leeds are not, in fact, in Wakefield.

Today I searched for other jobs specifically in my home town, and it showed me many for Leeds, York and Cleckheaton. I don't understand Indeed's algorithms.

That is quite strange about the locations. 0_0; Silly Indeed!

The best part is it will say '[jobs] in Wakefield' at the top of the email they send you. And then proceed to not offer you a single job in Wakefield. Or near Wakefield. Or sometimes in the same county as Wakefield. I know people commute, but come on Indeed, give me something.

"Near" is the bane of job searching life. In Edinburgh? ooh, look at these posts in the Shetland islands!
