Oh, I picked a GREAT night to suddenly accidentally watch some Coronation Street. The entire Platt family (almost) have just joined Becky's quest for justice. With Gail coming out in the lead on the side of just pure hate. It's probably as close to them being a supervillain family as they're ever going to get. It also almost totally justifies Kylie getting married to David, as far as I'm concerned. And the best part was clearly Nick, Gail, Kylie and Becky sitting around the table to discuss/argue about it, and then David suddenly appearing at the back, to mastermind it. And him wanting to help Becky because it's "the right thing". Oh. I wish Becky wasn't leaving. Even if this storyline is basically the reason they're all ganging up together in the first place.

Off to watch the second half -->

IT WAS AMAZING.

I loved when afterwards they were all in the sitting room and Nick and David were sort of crouching REALLY CLOSE TO EACH OTHER FOR NO REASON.

I loved them waving Becky and Kylie off as well, I love David being quite casual about letting them go and do crime without him, because he married Kylie because she is good at stuff like that, and he was all like 'oh have fun'. It was sweet.

It's awesome.

I hope the wedding is INCREDIBLE.

YES, and then they had a glance at each other. It was amazing. Also the fact that David decided to sit next to Becky, despite the many troubles they have had before, made me quite happy as well.

I loved David waving Kylie off. Part of me wanted them to go do crime together - I was assuming Becky wanted to break in again, and they'd be waiting till nightfall or whatever, and them going as a team would have been wicked. Maybe with Gail as well. With black make-up under her eyes. But the way it was, it was like Becky and Kylie were going off to do crime/justice, and David was just like "Bye then! I'll get the tea started. See you later, sweetheart." I love him. And them.

I haven't been watching for ages, so I didn't know what was going on or what Becky was planning to do with the information, or when this wedding was apparently happening. Then they were all like "It's on Monday". And Becky was like "I'll get my dress ready". SUDDENLY I AM APPREHENSIVE AND EXCITED FOR MONDAY. I hope it is good too. Oh Becky.
