Picking up prescriptions has got very exciting here. The pharmacy is attached to the GP's surgery, which is locked (if you absolutely need an in-person appointment it can be opened but I think those are increasingly rare). You arrive at the surgery then phone a mobile number, state your name and address and what you're there for. You are then instructed to go to a certain window, which is cracked open. Then a pallid hand emerges from the window and drops your prescription. It's quite surreal.
