I'm in the last third of the last book of Temeraire, and they've made Laurence an admiral, but they've given him the worst underlings, and I think he's going to have to kill them in the night because it's the only course left available to him. Probably he won't kill them in the night, probably he'll come up with something better than I could have, which would be to kill them in the night.

I'm in the last third of the last book of Temeraire, and I don't know what's going to happen. There's so many things left to tie up. Ning and China and Junichiro, and Edith Galman hasn't shown up yet, which I really think she will, and I don't know what happened to the Porcelain Vase of Peace. Will Naomi kill anyone? Will she kill a lot of them? I'm hoping for a happy ending, but I don't know that I can rely on it.
