I know, I was genuinely trying to think of a samba I've enjoyed on the show before and I really can't. I can certainly think of ones I didn't like, or ones where I thought "there's no bounce, the judges won't be happy", but not one that was great. They always say it's a dance that's supposed to make you want to get up and join the party, and I think this is the first one that made me feel anything like that. It was amazing. And it was weird, because it's really not a samba-y song, or a music-y song, but it fit that whole party atmosphere, "who cares, let's just dance" thing so well, and some of the lyrics so INCREDIBLY well. It was really impressive.
