I think it is ethical from the charity's point of view. And I don't have the discount yet, so I am paying more than another employee would. But I feel like I'm cheating the customers, the lovely customers, who come in to support the shop of their own free will and are perhaps dedicated charity-shop-lovely-thing finders. Also I think the other employees might hate me more for it, as though I'm only there for the stockroom scoop. I don't know. Hmm.

Maybe I do hate them. I haven't decided. Mostly I spend my time thinking about fictional characters and how impressed they would be with my sorting skillz, which is probably unhealthy on a number of levels, and doesn't help with the socialising, no.
