The fair I went to was not like the fair in the icon

I actually enjoyed The Following tonight, in the end. It sort of picked up, and seems to be getting back to it's original concept, if not the one I thought they'd be doing when I heard about the show. And it's always nice when Ryan gets things done, and when the writers keep things zipping along. I got a bit annoyed by the woman though. I know cult mindsets aren't big on free will, or on assuming their leaders are ever wrong, but I don't think your husband cheating on you with another woman is the same as your EX-wife sleeping with somebody else. Also I boggle at the people online who think Joe is complicated because he "obviously loves his wife and son". I mean it's nice he cares about them, and doesn't want to just kill them for turning their backs on him. But I don't think kidnapping and ignoring their desire to divorce you is exactly the same as loving people. Frankly.

Anyway. Other bad things that happened today or recently:

  • The fair we went to today wasn't great. You had to pay a cover charge to get in rather than just paying to go on rides, they didn't have any waltzers, and the hook-a-duck didn't have any water in it.

  • I saw someone today prompting a fic on Tumblr via comments, and they said "established relationship, obviously!" at the end. Have we lived and fought in vain?

  • No-one has written any Welcome To The Punch slash. I think just because it's a little British film, it's only been out a few days and no-one has really seen it. It's like there's no justice in the world.
