It's so shit. I just...the thing is, I know they're going to want the storyline to keep going. But they have EVERY WAY to make the storyline keep going without doing this. They could have had the wedding plan go smoothly, and had Tyrone get his custody claim to Ruby. So he won something, after months of pain. And then they could have had the truth come out, and him having to explain to everyone what happened, and had people's reactions, and had some people not understand or be awful about it, and had the custody battle over Ruby, and had Kirsty not letting go, and people be not sure how far they could go to keep her away from Tyrone. They could have done so much with the aftermath, and the emotional side of things. But instead, they're just drawing it out with false domestic abuse claims - and I know it maybe happens, when abusers turn the tables, but it still seems like an odd way to go with a domestic abuse storyline - and Tyrone just having to go through even more shit. It's just like the Carla storyline - they're just so happy to torture characters for months, until it's kind of stupid apart from anything else.

I'm sorry I'm banging on. IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY. Also, it's a real shame they've made Kirsty crazy and abusive when she's one of the few women of colour on the show. I hope, as you said, she gets better and nicer acting jobs after this. Also, Fiz would probably have put her phone on silent at a wedding, even a terrible, fraught wedding. Also why is Kirsty even accusing Tyrone of abusing her? If they didn't get married he's got no claim on Ruby. Is she just punishing him for leaving her? aksdjkjsdkl.

The other thing I saw when I watched Corrie was Gail trying to seduce Lewis into sleeping with her. IT ONLY HELPED CONVINCE ME I WAS DONE WITH CORRIE FOR A WHILE.
