Yeah, I hated it at the time, but genuinely didn't mind so much by the next episode because - as I've said - David was at least looking ashamed of it and acting like it was a mistake, and it wasn't just like Tracy had overpowered him with her feminine wiles and he was in love with her. And it has kind of been on the cards since before she went to prison, sort of. I still don't think he would have done it either, or Nick really, but I think they handled it well if they did have to do it.
and I liked that Tracy knew Gail wanted to have sex with her sons, and did it to make her jealous.
I now have an image in my head of Gail having thrown David out for being abused by his brother, and standing staring out of the window into Gary's backyard, wishing he would come back, while simultaneously frustrated that Nick still won't sleep with her. It is a bit fucked up. BUT SHE PROBABLY WOULD.
HE KNEW SHE HAD PAID ATTENTION TO HIS TEACHINGS. He was so happy. And re: The Orient Express - yes, with like David and Gail and Nick and Becky and Steve and Claire and Sean and Ken and possibly Amy all meeting in secret to discuss alibis and get rid of the weapon should there be one. I WOULD READ THAT FIC TOO.
