From the way it's played and the things Declan says, it seems like he's meant to hate Nathan, but mostly he just seems frustrated with him.

But it's not like I've never seen a relationship before that I thought was chock full of sexual tension, and then just went NOWHERE.

I can't get that video to work on YT or downloading :( (don't know why the downloading won't work, I might just keep trying) But yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if he had had physical realtionships with men in the past, but equally they're unlikely to go anywhere with it because of Aaron, as you say.

I found his introduction - the thing with the car stealing and the date and what have you - weird, but otoh I couldn't say it was a soap introduction I'd seen before, so points there! And I wasn't really interested in him being involved in the business (although the not-so-silent partner thing seemed odd to me too), but he's getting better.

Declan and Nathan working together would be great. Especially if Declan started being nice to Nathan; he'd have no idea how to handle it.
