Heroes Season 3 Opener
Is this real? America put out two episodes on their first night last week, and BBC2 is only showing one a week? I can't watch any more unless I have STUPID SKY? In which case I would have to watch it at 10 on Wednesdays for the next 12 weeks anyway, or I could watch it on the iPlayer, which means not getting any new stuff till next Thursday when it's been uploaded ksJDf;kshdzfiuszdhiofhn.
Anyway. That aside. OH GOD. That was my initial reaction when we found out who shot Nathan. Oh. That's a bit clever.I love future!Peter. Running around. Getting in all the things. I love Mohinder's amazing genetic breakthrough of ONE EPISODE. Also it does explain things seen in the trailer better than "They all just turn out to have superpowers, ALL OF THEM! It's fate and stuff!"
I love how much Angela hated future!Peter. And was all "Go away, and bring my son back. You don't compare". She slammed him into a wall. It was great. I love Peter and Angela. In the plotbunny I had where some of the heroes were evil and took over cities, Peter bought his mother a fancy apartment in his his. And got her a crown. I love Angela so much. And Peter.
But wait, what?? I suppose I can reveal now, although some people might have guessed, that I wanted Niki to survie the Season 2 cliffhanger, and not Nathan. Not because of anything to do with Nathan, although I thought they did set up the Nathan-is-the-only-one-who-can-stop-Peter-wouldn't-it-be-terrible-if-he-was-taken-away? thing quite well, and the poignant reuinion between the brothers at the end of Season 2. But mostly I wanted to keep Niki, because I love her, and she was finally getting to actually do stuff, and save people, even without her powers. But what's this? Nathan died, but then came back anyway (nice bit of Nathan/Linderman there by the way)? They upgraded his status to alive! And who is this Tracy? Is it still Niki? Let it be Niki and not a clone or something. I want Niki back. I want her to stay. Can she come back and keep her own mind and her powers and stuff please?
Love on Hiro and Ando, of course. Hiro annoys me sometimes, but it wouldn't be the same show without them. And the bit of the future! Ando gets a power! He and Hiro fight! Oh. Ando sticking up for Hiro's father's name! I love him. I like their new nemesis as well, although she does remind me of Elle. And Claire. I hope to see more of her in the future, and quite probably will. Maybe they can all go stealing together. I thought the Claire-Sylar scene was great as well, although it contradicts everything Adam and Tim Kring has been saying about that power before. Unless Sylar just doesn't properly understand how it works. Which I doubt. Hmph. But anyway. I liked it. Bring present!Peter back soon please. Explain what the hell future!Peter did there. And bring Niki back. Properly. For please.
