Nobody could complain about Owen getting shot, and as Jack can never die, what's the harm in trying to kill him? :-)
Go to the play you wanted to see, and watch the BBC modern adaptation of Midsummer Night's Dream on DVD, if you didn't happen to see it on the telly a couple of year's ago. It's good :-)
