Torchwood is so UP and DOwn and UP and DOwn, it's like they have no quality control whatsoever. Episode 6 "Countrycide" is one of the worst things ever, but the penultimate ep is rilly good, if you handwave the plot. If they were less arrogant and got a ruthless bitch of a script editor in it could be a brilliant series.
