Emmerdale!
OH GOD, I LOVE EMMERDALE. OH GOD. OH GOD. OHHHHH, I love it. I LOVE IT.
Rosemary Sinclair, who is the new rich posh bitch, just went into the Kings home business to book a shoot, and Edna didn't think they could arrange it, but Tom was just watching Rosemary, and said 'I'm sure we can sort something out', and they pretend that it is Carl who is the woman-chaser, with Jimmy lusting in the background and Matthew giving people the occasional eye, but really it is all of them, and they ride around in Ferraris and BMWs, and they're just so HUNGRY. HUNGRY, and grabby, and it is SEXY AS ALL GET OUT. They have sex with each other ocassionally just to work off the energy. Omg. Love.
And there's Edna and Betty! Old and grey-haired. Edna is strict, and Betty's a bit easy, and Edna talks in a refined accent, and Betty used to work in the mills and "mee-maws", and they walk around together holding each other's arms. They discuss family business they wouldn't talk to anyone else about while sitting at a table together in the Woolpack. THEY CLEARLY FIGHT CRIME ON THE SIDE. And someone made a gay joke about them once, and clearly they have shrugged it off, and oh God. I love them.
And Rosemary! Her daughter-in-law is called Perdita and she is beautiful, and she and Rosemary sit and talk in the pub when the son is silent and hanging his head because he is a wastrel who steals his mother's paintings for gambling money, and Perdita makes comments the son never would, knowing stuff about how Rosemary really feels, trying to work out what she's really doing, and they look at each other with such clear eyes, and if they are not having a beautiful affair I will cry.
Oh, and Debbie mentioned Charity. I miss Charity! Bisexual ex-prostitute, who was willing to sell her baby but couldn't give up Debbie, who she'd given up years before and had reappeared at 14, just like her. Debbie was saying her mother had told her everything there was to know about casinos. I love Charity! I can't remember ever liking her when she was there, but I miss her so much! Oh come back, Charity! Tell us again that some land's just too barren to farm!
I had proper posts half- planned out, but then I watched Emmerdale, and had to squee.
