Just watched Dog Day Afternoon on 2, after years of thinking 'that sounds interesting'.

Why did no-one tell me about the wonder??

Young Al Pacino as Sonny, the loveliest bank robber ever, who knows all about bank insurance and can outwit the tricksy cops and FBI agents! Who is bisexual and actually only doing it to get money for his suicidal lover's sex change operation! And wears sexy shirts of openess and sweaty t-shirts underneath!!1!1 ::dies with lust, and love::

I love the manager. I love Moretti. I love Sal and Leon. I love the girls. I love Sonny!!! And it's SO obvious that everyone else does too. Sonny/Leon! Sonny/Sal! Sonny/the crowd! Sonny/the phone! Sonny/Moretti (touching of wounded forehead! ::explodes:: Hurrah!)! Sonny/Sheldon! 11!

In conclusion: I love this film! I don't care how much money they take from me, I will own the DVD, even if I have to sell my body to cannibals and my mind to daytime TV! OMG!

I'm fairly certain that Dog Day Afternoon is always floating about in the sales at HMV and Virgin, so you ought to be lucky.

Just that I love that film.

And that I am still very cross with your dtdd files for not playing. Slempike says that some files I sent her did not play because they were too big, but dtdd isn't even very big. YOu should download realplayer and try watching them in that.

aaaaaaaaand, I saw that other film too. The one with the pretty people in. Brad pitt and angelina jolie. And Seth. I squeaked loudly. It was very wrong of me. And a leetle bit very embarrassing.

I apologise for the files. I think. Hmm. Realplayer perhaps yes. Apparently with a 'codec' they might play on wma...but I don't know what that is. Ah well.

I am vaguely tempted by the DVD boxset anyway though. It is in a box, and...boxy...::lusts the box...::
