Supernatural finale

Gosh.

Well, I was spoiled for most of the big stuff, but it was still quite the ride. 'OH DEAN', 'OH SAM' were my main thoughts. Also Ash! Andy! I was sort of expecting Ava to be evil though. I kind of love how the demon just rounded them up and sent them to abandoned Wild West town. I was not expecting Sam to die though. He didn't win Miss America! I guess it explains why the demon didn't mind half the kids being killed though.

Oh, and it was John to the rescue! And Dean is just mad and beautiful. I knew there was going to be some kind of deal though, so wasn't too shocked at what happened. I'm not sure how they're going to get him out of it though - it sounded like any welching would get Sam killed again. But obviously they'll figure something out. On the other hand, my Sam/Yellow-Eyed Demon 'ship went through the roof. And then promptly came back down again. Why does TV always do this to me? But still. It was John to the rescue, and that was win.

And yay. I am all caught up on Supernatural, until the third season in a few weeks. Hurray!

Supernatural series 3 airs in just a few weeks stateside? Ooh! I'm all full of wanting to know how Dean can be saved! But I know I'll just wait for ITV2, I've already got too much TV in my life without downloading too! But tell me, do you think that season 3 might actually really be Dean's last season? Cos that would break my heart! :'(

September 27th, I think. I don't think it will be Dean's last season - there's a lot of dark stuff in Supernatural, but I can't see the producers making that big a step. I don't think they'd have given Dean so much leeway, a year, if they weren't planning to find something to fix it in the meantime. And I don't think they could really have the show without Dean. It crossed my mind that it might be Sam's last season, since he might have "come back wrong" and the threat hanging over welching out of the deal is his death - but again, would it be the same show without Sam? But then they seem to be moving out of the big initial storyline of "chosen kids", so who knows? I don't see myself how they're going to get Dean out of this, but I don't think it'll be his last season, unless it's the last season of the show.
